We came to class and sat down. On the second day we learned about safety in the shop.
We learned about welding and how we have to wear face mask to protect us from going blind.
on the third day we got into groups and worked on the spaghetti project. The spaghetti project
were you build a bridge to support a empty jug of milk and who's ever holds the most water wins.
On thursday we got into to groups and actualy started building our bridge.
Friday was when we started our websites. it was easy at first but then it got complicated.

Yesterday we started writing on our websites.We learned about
new tags and how to use them properly. The tags are litle counfusing but
I've got the hang of it. Sometags make you add your writing centered and how
to add spaces between paraghraphs. so ya thats what we did yesterday.

We worked on our spaghetti bridges. Connor glued the spaghetti together.
Our bridge is made up of triangles and beams. Triangles are used in alot of building
beacuse they give the most support. They distibute weight evenly across the beam

On friday we worked on our bridges in groups. Connor and david glued most the
bridge but not all of it. we couldnt because if we did glue them all on
than the bridge would collapse. so tomorrow we would glue the rest on.

On wensday we worked on our wensday challenge. WE glued on the reast of the supports on our
bridge so we can get it dry and test it out. WE used a triangle design. When you
see the triangle design its mostly used in bridges to distribute the weight evenly. This is the most efficent way to
build a bridge.

On friday WE meet Mr.wilton and he talked about how he won an oscar.He talked about his shop. He is a cool guy this is his website.
Mr.wilton's website. After he was done talking the veterans came in to talk about
the invention challenge. The invention challenge is a challenge provided by JPL. The challenge is a robot has to get a cup of water and a fish 2 meters across
to another cup were the device pours it without spilling water. They each presented an idea of how to buil the device and how to transport it across.
on if the ideas was the kevin arm and it flung the water down into the cup. So next week we are going to go over more ideas.

On wensday we talked about our the scores we got on our spaggheti bridge project. My team Connor, Rohan, David, and me.
Our bridge got a score of 13. We won by like a few decimals.I wasnt there to test the bridge but my team told
me how we won and who got the lowest and who got the lowest.

On friday we talked about the invention challenge. They had cut down to three ideas. THey each talked
about why they took out the ideas they did. Then they explained why they keept some ideas. my favorite idea is
the kevin arm. The kevin arms is a rotating stick the flings the water into a funnel and the water and fish go down
into the cup.
